Olivia’s Place is a sober living residence for women recovering from Substance Use Disorders. We provide a supportive, supervised environment for women who are committed to continued recovery after detox and stabilization.

Who We Serve

Olivia’s Place serves women who are in recovery from Substance Use Disorders and are seeking a stable, substance free living environment.

Our program is designed for women who have completed detox and initial stabilization and are ready for the next phase of recovery in a structured, supportive home.

Anyone may apply, and all inquiries are reviewed carefully to ensure the program is the right fit for the individual and the safety of the home.

Program Structure

Residents typically stay between 6 and 12 months, depending on individual progress and needs.

  •  A sober, drug free living environment

  • 12-step and faith based environment

  •  Structure, supervision, and accountability

  •  Supportive guidance focused on long term recovery

This is a residential sober living program, not a clinical treatment facility.

Meet the owner/directors who founded Olivias Place in October 2024 out of a sense of passion for helping women in recovery.  

Dana Turk

 

Dana Turk is a retired counselor of over 20 years in the substance abuse field. She has a MS in Psychology and has been a Certified Addictions Counselor level II. She is currently certified as a Peer Specialist. Olivia’s Place was inspired after losing her 22 year old daughter ,Olivia, in a tragic car accident in 2016.  She has worked in all areas of the substance abuse recovery field. She is a person in long term recovery and wishes to give back not only to honor her child but to help women struggling with addictions.

Sherri Ward

 

Sherri has worked in the Substance Abuse and Mental Health field since 1991 in various roles as a counselor, coordinator, nurse manager, and director.  She currently holds a master’s degree in psychology .  Sherri is a CAADC provider, and currently a counselor for DUI Accountability Court and outpatient services at Redirect Counseling in Valdosta, GA.  

Sherri began her career with the State of GA MH/MR/SA as an adolescent therapist and has worked for many yrs. in community Substance Abuse/Mental Health services, private inpatient hospitals, and has made it her life’s purpose to give back.  Sherri is also a person in long term recovery who desires to give back what was once given to her.

Our Mission

It is our mission to motivate and develop strong, independent women living free from the grips of addiction by using professional and peer support resources from our local communities. We desire to affect permanent change in our residents that restores hope, builds self-esteem, and promotes independence utilizing  a combination of 12-step recovery, faith-based resources, in a structured, safe and accountable environment of care.

Our Vision

Our vision for Saved by Grace is for our residents to experience and develop life changing skills and coping mechanisms to live as sober, productive members of our society as well as experience restored hope and wellness to lives broken by addiction.

Placement & Availability

Because Olivia’s Place is a small, home like residence with limited beds, placement depends on availability.

If beds are available, we will guide you through the next steps.
